For the first time in history, Masters athletes will be able to stake their claim for glory alongside the world’s best cross country athletes at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Bathurst 23 (WXC Bathurst 23) taking place in February next year.
Spectator tickets and entries for mass participation races at the World Athletics Cross Country Championships Bathurst 2023 are now on sale. Taking place across three massive days from February 17-19, the event is proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.

Athletics Tasmania had 36 Primary School athletes and 27 Secondary School athletes compete at the 2022 School Sport Australia Cross Country Championships that were held in Adelaide, SA, on August 26 – 29. This was a 4-day event including an opening ceremony, education excursion, team relay and closing ceremony.
Congratulations to the four Tasmanian athletes who will make up a small but talented group of juniors heading off to the Australian Winter Race Walking Championships at Middle Park Melbourne on Sunday, 11th September.
