Athletics Australia (AA) and Little Athletics Australia (LAA) has appointed Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers as brokers for National Insurance Program, replacing Honan Insurance Group. Gow-Gates is a distinguished Australian insurance broker and risk advisor that brings a fresh and innovative approach to safeguarding clubs, centres, members, and athletes. With a sporting track record spanning five decades, Gow Gates has successfully curated specialised and tailored insurance programs for some of Australia's highest profile sports.

Moving forward, Gow-Gates will be your point of contact for insurance advice, queries, and claims management. It is important to note that this change pertains exclusively to the insurance broker, and all existing insurance policies will remain in effect until 30 April 2024.

Gow-Gates, in conjunction with the AA and LAA Transition Working Group, will source new policies to take effect from 30 April 2024. This process aims to ensure a seamless transition and deliver the highest standard of insurance service and policy outcomes for the sport.

To facilitate easy access to policy information, claims forms, risk management advice and Certificate of Currencies, Gow-Gates are in the process of launching the AA and LAA insurance website that will be accessible on 26 January 2024.
