Throws clinic back for TAS

AT and the TIS are excited to bring the Tasmanian throws community an amazing opportunity to be part of a Throws Clinic.
We have been able to get Matthew Hornemann and Nora Monie (coach and athlete) to be part of this Throws Clinic.

Clinic Details:
Saturday 25th February 2023
9:00am – 12:00pm – Athletics South round 14B throws events include: Discus, Hammer, and Shot Put.
All registered athletes are to participate in their event and be filmed for review and analysis during the clinic. All registered coaches are to be present at their event.
12:30pm – 5:30pm – Video review from morning competition and practical application of feedback.
Sunday 26th February 2023
8:00am – 10:00am – Presentation on Hammer/Discus/Shot Put Mechanics from Matt Horneman (Domain Athletics Centre - Function Room)
10:00am – 12:00pm – Throws session putting learnings into practice with expert advice from Matt Horemann and Nora Monie
12:30pm – 4:00pm – S&C, Planning & Periodization, College Throwing

Places are limited and priority will be given to all TIS and TTP athletes and coaches.
All throws coaches are welcome to participate and support the event.
The sessions on Sunday morning are open to all athletes and coaches, and the opportunity has been extended to Little Athletics and the wider throws community.
