2026 Tasmanian Short Course Road Walks Championships (Incorporating the Tasmanian All Schools Road Walks Championships

This is the entry portal for 2025-26 Tasmanian (AT) Short Course Road Walk Championships (incorporating the Tasmanian All Schools Road Walks Championships) to be held on Sunday 21 June 2026 at the Perth Cycle and Pedestrian Pathway, via Youl Road, Perth. Tas.

Draft Timetable

12:00pm: Open 10km

12:00pm: U/20 & U/18 5Km

12:00pm:  U/16 3km

12:30pm: U/14 2km

12:30pm: U/12 & U/11 1.5km

12:50pm: Over 40 5km

1. All events shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of World Athletics, Athletics Australia and Athletics Tasmania and for masters events where applicable, those of TMA, AMA and WMA.
2. Please enter for each event by indicating in the event box and placing your best performance.
3. Entries will close at 10.00pm on Saturday 20 June 2026. Entry fees for open and under age events should be paid on line. The cost is $16.00 per event. Please note - refunds will not be given under any circumstances.
4. Late entries will be accepted up to 10am on Sunday 21 June 2026 under the AT Policy guidelines. An additional Late Entry Fee of $15.00 per event will apply to ALL entries received after the initial closing date.
5. Athletes must be All Competition, Out of Stadium, All Schools Entrant Only OR Ticket to Play* members of Athletics Tasmania (or another Member Association of Athletics Australia) and be under the relevant age as of 31 December 2026.
6. Age Qualification – Age is determined at at the 31 December 2026, with the exception of Over 40 athletes wich is determined by whether the competitor will reach the stated age on the day of competition.
7. Underage athletes must compete in the age group for which they are eligable.
8. Athletes must turn at least 9 years of age in the year of competition to enter this event. 
9. Event confirmation will take place in accordance with the technical regulations. All athletes and coaches should ensure that they are familiar with these regulations which together with the timetable, other event news and policy information are available on the web site on www.tasathletics.org.au
