NATIONAL ALL SCHOOLS TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

The 2022 Australian All Schools Track & Field Championships will be held in Adelaide from 9-11 December 2022.

The School Sport Australia 10/11/12 years Championships will be held in Brisbane from 17-21 November 2022..

This is the entry portal for 2022-23 Tasmanian All Schools  Track and Field to be held on 29 and 30 October 2022 and may be used by any age eligible athlete provided that they are also a bone fide school student.

Please carefully note the following (as well as examining the timetable for the meet and technical regulations that are available at www.tasathetics.org.au):

Any athlete who is already registered with Athletics Tasmania for the season beginning on 1 October 2022 will be able to enter this meet in the usual way – using their standard login details. The same situation applies to those who have standard login details even if currently not registered.

*Any athlete wishing to enter this meet who is not currently registered with Athletics Tasmania nor has a standard login must first “register” as a “Non-Registered” athlete [there is no fee payable for this] and once that is done enter the meet using the login details provided. https://www.tasathletics.org.au/rego/start/&membership=195462

The entry fee is $13 per individual event and $26 per combined event up to a maximum payment per athlete of $78 (irrespective of the number of event entered).

Late entries (in accordance with the principles in the applicable Technical Regulations) will not be offered on-line. Contact must be made directly with the AT office in person or by phone or email.

  2. All events shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of World Athletics, Athletics Australia and Athletics Tasmania - please note in particular that the new take-off rules for long and triple jumps and the new lane infringement rules for track events will apply.
  3. Please enter for each event by indicating the appropriate event box and indicating your best performance since 1 January 2022.
  4. Entries will close at 10:00pm on Tuesday 25 October 2022.
  5. Late entries will be considered in accordance with the Technical Regulations.
  6. An additional Late Entry Fee of $13.00 per event (including a combined event) will apply to ALL entries received after the closing date. Entries on the day of competition will be considered in accordance with the Technical Regulations. Late entries will only be accepted where acceptance does not require the conduct of an additional round in the event or the re-instatement of a cancelled event. Requests for late entries should be directed either to the AT office or to brian.roe@earthling.net  Please note: Refunds will not be given under any circumstances.
  7. Athletes must be eligible athletes and must be age eligible as of 31 December 2022. In order to compete at these championships an athlete must have been born no later than 31 December, 2012. All athletes must be bona fide school students.  All competitors in the 10, 11 and 12 years events must be born in 2012, 2011 and 2010 respectively.
  8. Athletes must be All Competition, Out of Stadium OR Non-Registered* members of Athletics Tasmania (or another Member Association of Athletics Australia) and be under the relevant age as of 31 December 2021.
  9. Athletes are eligible only to enter the age group which applies specifically to their year of birth, with the exception that under 14 athletes may enter the under 16 200 metres hurdles and 3000m. Provided they are age eligible, athletes may enter in no more than two additional events in one of the U14, U16 or U18 age groups. Should an athlete enter more than one age group, the first must be the age group that relates specifically to their year of birth. An athlete may not enter two age groups of the same event when according to the published draft timetable they are scheduled to be held simultaneously.
  10. No athlete born after 2008 shall be permitted to compete in any track event longer than 3000m or in the steeplechase. An athlete must turn 16 years of age in 2022 to compete in events of distance in excess of 5000 metres. However an athlete aged 13 years on the day of competition may compete in a 5000m race walk championship. An athlete must turn 12 years of age in 2022 and have received skill training from an accredited coach beforehand to compete in pole vault and hammer throw competitions.
  11. Subject always to the further restrictions outlined above an athlete aged 12 or under on the day of competition will only be permitted to “compete up” in Under 14 age (except in the case of athletes turning 13 in the year of competition who may compete in the under 16 200m hurdles and 3000m.
  12. Athletes with a para-athlete classification and wishing to compete with such classification must indicate their existing or expected classification in the relevant box on the entry form. Para-athletes will in general where circumstances permit compete simultaneously with all athletes of their age group in each event entered.
  13. Event confirmation will take place in accordance with the technical regulations. All athletes and coaches should ensure that they are familiar with these regulations which together with the timetable, other event and policy information are available on the web site on www.tasathletics.org.au.
