2023/24 Competition Calendar - at 1/11/2023
The Events and Competitions Commission has signed off on the Season Calendar for 2023-24. It will be updated as changes are required.
The permit status of each meet is indicated after the meet:
WRC means World Ranking Competitions: results will be sent to World Athletics and eligibility for Top List recognition and world rankings points will follow.
AADP means Athletics Australian Domestic Permit: results will be sent to AA and eligibility for Australia Ranking List recognition and national championships entry standards will follow. Australian records cannot be set at these meets but results are eligible for Tasmanian records. Note that TAL Carnivals are AADP only for any performances that are made under World Athletics/Athletics Australia Rules and the event location is surveyed.
If there is no indicator after the meet name then the meet/race has no permit status
Please note that in addition to the meets recognised as WRCs after the system began on 1.1.23, we have added to that status level several of the pre-Christmas events as well as three Athletics South Interclubs in February on dates when they are the only meet in the state and at a time of the season when athletes are likely to be hitting higher form.
